Watch record producer ‘DarkChild’ Rodney Jerkins with recording artist Lady Gaga

Rodney Jerkins, also known as Darkchild, is one of the world’s top Urban record producers. In this very special video, we have the 37-year old multi-instrumentalist jam with Lady Gaga as they put the finishing touches on what was to become the huge international hit song “Telephone”.

As you hear in the video, it took them a year (!) to finish the song. As you have heard in one of my video tutorials, the top record producers spend quite a lot of time to produce master-quality recordings before they pitch them to artists or their A&R’s.

 Again, this multi-million dollar hit song was a year in the making.

It’s no surprise that record producer Darkchild has produced for the who’s who in the Pop, R&B and Hip Hop scene for the past two decades, including Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and many others.
