South Korean supergroup BTS issued a statement on Monday night condemning the recent wave of anti-Asian violence and hate that is sweeping the U.S. and shared their own experiences of the racism they have faced for being Asian.
The record, titled ‘BTS, The Best’, will be the group’s third Japanese compilation album. It is set to release on June 16. It will include a total of 23 songs across two CDs, including the Japanese versions of their hits from 2017 onwards. The Grammy-nominated single ‘Dynamite’ will also feature as a bonus track.
756,000 fans from over 100 countries tuned in to the online performance on June 14th, which included a 12 song setlist and some interluding chat between the seven band members, all being broadcast live from Seoul, South Korea.
