Elvis Presley’s only grandson Benjamin Keough died at the age of 27 in an apparent suicide. He was found at his mother’s home Calabasas near Los Angeles from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Keough seldom appeared in public, but the few photos of him showed his strong resemblance to his grandfather. He was last photographed with his mother in New York City in April 2019. He was described as resemblance to Elvis as “just uncanny”.

Keough was a musician who had done some acting and had attended the 40th anniversary of Elvis’s death at the star’s former home Graceland in Memphis in 2017.

Roy Orbison Jr, whose father performed with Keogh’s grandfather, said: “Everybody please pray for Elvis Presley’s family. They have had another terrible tragedy today.”

Rock’n’roll legend Elvis Presley died in 1977 aged 42.
