“It’s time to wake up” about the inequality women artists face, she says. As a woman, “you have to do twice as better…You have to trust yourself, you have to get over the ‘I’m not good enough’ thing” — to push past doubts that, for example, the virtuosity of a woman guitarist such as herself could match that of a man.
